How the Ukrainian Premier League works

16 clubs play a 30-game double round-robin. The team top of the table at the end is the champion of Ukraine — there is no play-off split; every point across the season counts toward the title and Europe.
European places
The champion qualifies for the Champions League, 2nd for the Europa League and 3rd for the Conference League — some of Europe's richest prizes.
Relegation
The bottom 2 clubs of the final table drop to the First League, replaced by the teams coming up. Every point at the foot of the table matters.
