LeagueDay is a content site. We don’t have accounts, we don’t ask for your personal information, and we don’t sell data. This page explains the limited data that’s involved anyway when any website is served.

No accounts or personal details. There’s nothing to sign up for, so we don’t collect names, emails, or payment information. If we later add an optional email newsletter, that will be strictly opt-in and you’ll be told exactly what you’re signing up for.

Standard server logs. Like virtually every website, our hosting provider processes basic technical information needed to deliver pages — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running, not to build a profile of you.

We aim to keep tracking minimal. If we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool, it’s to understand which trackers are popular in aggregate — not to identify individuals. Any non-essential cookies will be disclosed here, and where required by law you’ll be given a choice before they’re set.

We may in the future show ads or include affiliate links to help fund the site. Advertising partners (for example, Google AdSense) may use cookies to serve and measure ads; you can control ad personalization through Google’s Ads Settings. Any affiliate relationship will be disclosed, and gambling-related promotions — if ever added — will carry 21+ and responsible-gambling notices and be limited to where they’re legal.

Scores and standings are sourced from public sports data feeds (such as ESPN). When your browser loads images like team flags, those requests go to the relevant content provider. We don’t share any information about you with these services beyond what your browser sends to load the content.

LeagueDay is a general-audience sports site and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
