How the Greek Super League works

Regular season, then a split

14 clubs play a regular season, then the table splits into a Championship Group, a Europe Playoffs Group and a Relegation Group. The Championship Group decides the title of Greece.

European places

The champion qualifies for the Champions League, 2nd for the Europa League and 3rd for the Conference League — some of Europe’s richest prizes.

Relegation

The bottom two clubs of the final table drop to the second division, replaced by the teams coming up. Every playoff point matters.
